Corridos, bibliography of periodicals, and miscellaneous materials gathered together by Armando de Maria y Campos. Subjects represented in the corridos include the Mexican writer Vicente Lombardo Toledano, politics in the state of San Luis Potosi, and the Mexican Revolution. The list of Mexican periodicals is mostly of revolutionary and liberal publications, though a few conservative publications are also included. The group of historical documents comprises seven holograph documents stating the terms of lease agreements, contracts and inheritance for properties held by the counts of the Valle de Orizaba in Mexico. Also included in the group is a history of the Hospicio de Pobres, which is alleged to be the first publicly supported poorhouse in North America.
